Accommodation - The modern and centrally heated chalets at Vakentier
Holiday Park provide comfortable self catering accommodation for between
4 and 6 persons, and are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing
holiday. They include a lounge with colour TV, bath or shower room, and
a fully fitted kitchen. Every chalet even has it's own patio area with
garden furniture where you can relax after a hard day playing football.
On park facilities include a superb indoor swimming pool complex with flume, jacuzzi and sauna, plus a six lane bowling alley, basketball, and playing fields including a soccer pitch for those all important training sessions.
If you would like a break from self catering there is a welcoming restaurant, or you could take a taxi into Valkenburg for its extensive range of cafes restaurants and bars to suit every budget.
Football - Valkenburg and Schin Op Geul in Holland are ideal locations for soccer based tours, with Belgium and Germany only a short coach journey away. Teams from all these countries regularly participate in the many local soccer tournaments taking place during the bank holiday periods.
In addition to the tournaments on offer, we can arrange friendly fixtures against teams from the local area, which gives UK clubs the chance to not just play fixtures but socialise with the host club at their grounds. Most Dutch clubs have excellent facilities with clubhouses where you can enjoy a post match drink and snack.
