The Holland Easter Classic Tournament

The Holland Easter Classic is regarded as one of Europe's biggest international Easter soccer tournaments. Your team is invited to participate in the 19th annual edition.

Between 250 and 300 teams from 12 countries are expected in 2009. The tournament is open to all teams that are members of their FIFA affiliated national associations.

The event is an initiative of Expersport together with 10 soccer clubs and will be played on 35 grass and artificial soccer pitches, spread over different locations.

All matches are played on both Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April.

All teams will play a minimum of 6 games spread over Saturday and Sunday. In the first round all teams play in groups of 4 or 5 teams.
All teams in 1 group will play each other once on the Saturday.

On Sunday the second round starts. All teams that qualify as number 1 or 2 in the 1st round groups will play in the 2nd round -A-.

All other teams from the 1st round will play in the 2nd round -B-. Again all teams are placed in groups and play each other once.

The 2nd round group winners play the (semi-) finals. The tournament organization reserves the right (if needed) to make adjustments to the above mentioned tournament format.

Arrival of all participating teams.

Saturday 11th April 2009
09.00 a.m. Start of the First Round Tournament Matches.

Sunday 12th April 2009
09.00 a.m. Start of the Second Round Tournament Matches. All (semi-) Finals are played today as well. Approx. 6 p.m.: End of Tournament. Departure of teams (or on Monday April 13th).
